We have several areas of ministry that function with a lead or as a congregational effort.

Vernon Robinson

The Community Relations, and Benevolence ministry works to glorify Jesus Christ by sharing Christ’s love in a tangible way with those in need, both inside and outside our congregation. Services provided through this ministry, but certainly not limited to:

  • Spiritual support
  • Emotional support

  • Emergency assistance with food
  • Emergency assistance with basic utilities

Women’s Ministry: Cindy Cox

The women’s ministry focuses on building an inclusive community of women who are seeking to glorify God, make disciples, and provide a place for women to grow in the Lord.

Children’s Ministry

While we don’t currently have a specific person responsible for this ministry, we do have several people that are working to ensure that our children get the attention they need and deserve.

We have an annual Easter Egg hunt, Fall Festival/Trunk’or’Treat and VBS.

Several people plan and lead activities like:

  • pizza night
  • movie night
  • game night.

The women’s ministry ensures that we have an attended nursery for children birth to 2 years old, have childcare for the Tuesday morning class for those parents of pre-school children that want to attend.

At the beginning of each school year, we have a ministry (“Please Pray for Me”) where anyone who wants, draws the name of a school age child.  That person prays for that child for the entire school year and beyond.  At the end of the year, the adult has the option to let the child know who they are or not.

Education Ministry

This ministry does not have a lead person.
We do have a class/teacher coordinator.
All the children’s classes study the same material at an age-appropriate level.
We have Sunday morning Bible class, Sunday morning children’s church, Wednesday night Bible class, and VBS to name a few of the times we get to teach our children about God.
