Women’s Ministry

The women’s ministry focuses on building an inclusive community of women who are seeking to glorify God, make disciples, and provide a place for women to grow in the Lord.

We welcome you to our gathering!
The women’s ministry has a lot of things going on! Take a look the pictures of some of our recent events.

Our largest annual events are a spring women’s day and a fall retreat.
Some of the other things we do and support throughout the year:

• Small group Bible studies
• Support for our neighboring school, Aiken Elementary School
• Mission work in Corquin de Copan, Honduras
• Support the South Eastern Children’s Home (SECH)
• Maintain/update facility seasonal décor
• Support families during crisis and joyful events by providing food and other needs
• Women’s night out and road trips.

We also have a monthly day of encouragement where we meet to write cards, make contact plans, and pray for family members that have a special occasion or challenge they are facing.

Through several means of communication (email, dedicated Slack channel and Facebook group, etc.), we work hard to keep everyone up to date on the goings on.

In the past year we have held several drives for the Honduras mission, provided baby clothes and supplies to a local pregnancy center, supported SECH Christmas giving, and helped several of our members with health-related issues and rehab support.

We are always looking for special projects and things to do to support the women of the church and the community. In the coming year, we are looking to reach out further into the community, while keeping our works of service going for the women of the congregation.
