Women’s Ministry
The women’s ministry focuses on building an inclusive community of women who are seeking to glorify God, make disciples, and provide a place for women to grow in the Lord.
We welcome you to our gathering!
The women’s ministry has a lot of things going on!
We have several special events each year. Our largest events are a spring women’s day and a fall
retreat.
Some of the other things we do & support throughout the year:
- Women’s small group Bible studies
- Women’s Wednesday night or Sunday morning Bible studies
- BackPack food program and other efforts at Aiken Elementary
- Mission work in Honduras – mainly working specifically with Kris Bridges and the women of the
churches in Corquin and Potrerillos - Maintain/update facility seasonal décor
- Support families during crisis & joyful events by providing food & other needs
- Monthly/quarterly women’s get togethers
We provide support to the Deacons in each of their areas as needed.
We also have a monthly day of encouragement where we meet to write cards, make contact plans, and pray for family members that have a special occasion or challenge they are facing.
A monthly newsletter, Slack channel, FaceBook page, and other ways of communication are employed to keep us all up to date on the goings on.
We are always looking for special projects and things to do to support the women of the church and the community.

The ladies had a get together where they made wreaths under the supervision of a master wreath maker. Everyone had a good time. Below are some pictures from this event.
